All I can say is wow, what a fantastic view! If you are in Shanghai you have to see this at night, the view is incredible and the photo opportunities are numerous. The view across the river is spectacular and you can sit for a long time just taking it all in, however the view in all directions is pretty amazing, all buildings are lit up with impressive light shows, do not miss this opportunity if you’re in Shanghai as a tourist.

The Bund is not just a tourist attraction; it’s an essential, breathtaking chapter in the story of Shanghai and, indeed, of modern China. My visit here was nothing short of spectacular, earning a solid and enthusiastic five stars for an experience that engages the senses, educates the mind, and elevates the spirit.
Walking along the Zhongshan Road promenade, you are treated to what is arguably one of the most iconic urban vistas on the planet. On one side, you have the stately, gravity-defying

Absolutely the most iconic spot in Shanghai! The contrast between the historic European-style architecture on one side and the futuristic skyline of Pudong on the other is breathtaking. It is essentially a living museum of the city's history. The promenade is perfect for a long walk, and the photo opportunities are endless. It gets very crowded, especially on holidays, but the view is 100% worth it. A must-visit landmark.

The Bund in Shanghai is genuinely impressive, with its grand riverfront skyline and beautifully preserved historic buildings. The contrast between the classic architecture along the promenade and the modern towers across the water creates a view that feels both elegant and striking. It is a pleasant place for a stroll, especially in the evening when the lights reflect on the Huangpu River, giving the whole area a calm yet vibrant atmosphere.
