Vibrant exciting large square in the middle surrounded by several large malls merchandising apparel, toys, footwear, sports goods and nearby museums / cultural landmarks etc. Often there are small events held there which adds to the vibrancy n excitement. It can get crowded so be careful to keep the kids nearby to avoid them getting lost. In the evenings it is quite glitzy with all the neon lights n music but it all adds to the charm of the square. Definitely a shopping galore paradise with nume

People's Square in Shanghai is a major public hub in the city's Huangpu District, known for its cultural landmarks like the Shanghai Museum and Grand Theatre, extensive shopping, and as a central transportation nexus. The area combines administrative, cultural, commercial, and transport functions, with historical roots as a racetrack.

Pretty cool spot to walk around in Shanghai! Shopping malls are abundant as well as the anime stores and pop-ups. Love how China is way ahead than every other country. Definitely a spot I'll come back to later.

I definitely dont know what all the fuss is about here. Mid Morning on a Sunday and it was empty, including the disappointing fountain. Im not sure why people come, I was told it was an amazing place and you couldn't move its was so bustling. I must be missing something. I even had to ask google if this is it...!!
