Visited the Oriental Pearl TV Tower in October 2024, and it’s easily one of Shanghai’s most iconic landmarks. Even if you don’t go up, the tower itself is impressive to see up close, especially at night when it’s fully lit and reflected along the Huangpu River.

I went up to the observation decks, and the panoramic view of Pudong and the Bund is amazing. On a clear day, you can really appreciate how massive and modern Shanghai is. The glass floor section is a fun (and slightly scary) experience

It is a must visit place in shanghai.. The easiest way coming here is taking subway 1 heading Pudong airport direction, but stop at LuJiaZui. Follow the exit direction ( in mandarin), the tower just in front of you. Then taking the escalator, we arrive at beautiful round look up platform, seeing the surrounding. There are Disney Flagship store, Shanghai Ocean Aquarium.

After strolling around, time to visit the tower itself.
