If it was the beginning of the 2000s, I would consider this a good hotel. But it stopped its development somewhere there. If it wasn’t for the nice pool with real greenery and warm water, I would’ve given it just two stars. The hotel is old and it shows. It has a spa, but the bath robes are paid extra and the sauna was just 65 degrees. And the towels were the hardesst and roughest towels I’ve ever used. If the price was adequate for the conditions, it would’ve been ok. But this is not a cheap place. The service varied from nice to grumpy- since there were only two people handling the guests, I guess it was not easy for them as well. The balcony in my room was not kid friendly at all. And the poor dogs outside were howling all night long. The road from the parking to the hotel itself was icy and hard to walk on especially with luggage. Overall, not a great experience, especially in winter. And if you have any dietary restrictions, it will be difficult to eat in the hotel and the town is 10 kms away.
