Because I had Bansko on my travel list for Bulgaria (because I love being in the mountains, and therefore the Pirin-Mountains were a must-go), I had to find myself an accommodation here - and found it in shape of the Guest House Anex. It was a very charming stay for three nights, the rooms are hotel-like with an own bathroom, a TV and a little fridge. The Annex is exelent choose the rooms are very spacious and fully equipped, renovated bathrooms. Guests have appreciated the balcony. The staff was professional, warm and friendly and very organised. Neat and tidy complex, as well as the peaceful surroundings. The location is ideal for walking and get to know the local places. I am looking forward to stay again on my winter break and get on skiing.

This is a great affordable place to stay, approx 5 min walk from the main gondola up to the Bankso ski slopes. The rooms are simple but the beds are comfortable. Some larger rooms, like ours, was for 3 people and had 2 bathrooms, plus a fridge and kettle. Showers were hot plus there is a ski boot and ski storage room down by the front door. I enjoyed my time here. The staff were pleasant. We felt safe walking back late at night from the bars to the guest house. Old Town is a small walk an
