We stayed in a suite on the first floor. It was nicely appointed, with three large windows. The room was quiet -- only very minimal street noise (Friday night in the city, even). The location is very good. It's outside of the crowded tourist area but pretty convenient to the best Porto offers. The staff (especially Joao) are friendly, attentive, and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay! The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. The house is quiet and was always a nice reprieve after a day of wandering. The staff were very helpful and attentive, the garden area is lovely and it was so nice to visit the restaurant and bar connected to the guest house. It was approx. a 12-18 minute walk nearly everywhere, so while we were close to the action, our little corner of Porto was rather quiet and calm. There are a number of fun bars and restaurants on th

We had an unbelievable stay at Jardins do Porto last week. Everything was very high touch, with very well-appointed rooms to fantastic views to unbelievably comfortable beds. We genuinely did not want to leave the bed. All the linens, towels, etc. were also extremely soft. Just a really, really comfortable room. We had the Standard room, which others have noted is pretty tight. And it was indeed small; there wasn't a great place to put our suitcases or store clothes, but we didn't mind at all. I
