Great place, huge, amazing locatipn just 5 min walk from harbor and l8ve river... get a harbor view room if you can, got upgraded to one and it was fantastic... good breakfast buffet, plenty of restaurants for lunch and dinner... had no time to check out spa and swiming pool but looked great... loved the big bathtub and the shower in our room...

I have stayed at the Grand Hi Lai Kaohsiung numerous times over the last 15 years and have been happy here every time. The onsen is fantastic, the location is great (within walking distance to a major MRT station) and the restaurants are surprisingly good value for the quality of the food. Special recommendation of Celebrity Cuisine for a delicious Cantonese meal. It is my number 1 choice for Kaohsiung.
