You can admire the culture in this area by walking to each temple. Everything is well maintained and free! We didn't explore much other than that though.

Lotus Pond in Kaohsiung is one of those places where you can truly find everything gathered around one area. It is not just a scenic spot, but a place that feels very alive and woven into daily life. Whether you live nearby or are visiting, there is always something happening around the pond.
One of the best parts is the morning market that opens daily. It is a great place to grab breakfast, fresh fruit, and local snacks. Monday mornings tend to be a bit slower and more relaxed, while weekends

Fascinating temples on the water you can reach via bridges. Unique place, haven't seem similar before.

hmm, it's good, but i think it could be better. i went here on the afternoon, there are a lot of people who are fishing in the lake. i saw dead fish, someone singing loudly with microphone, dogs that are pooping, cute turtles, swans and ducks. people jogging, traveling, praying. for some reason, after all, it depicts ... life.

Main attraction in Kaohsiung. Big pond with many colourful temples and pagodas. Some stores and shops along the pond but not big variety. The main pagoda is currently in construction/renovation. No lotus during aug when we visited. Look quite dull. We tried milk tea nearby but was not good.
