Very much a hidden in plain sight experience. I’ve lived in London for over 30 years and hadn’t been inside before, but happy I took advantage of my new English Heritage membership to do so. There are four floors of exhibition space. One dedicated to the interesting history of the arch, one is a war remembrance space (could have been more engaging), and two floors of temporary exhibition space that were being used for a contemporary art show on my visit (loved this).
