It is not only for art, design, and performance, housing over 2.8 million objects spanning 5,000 years of human creativity but also for inspiration for the present moment and the look of the tomorrow and of course a good afternoon spent with your loved ones or just by yourself. Go and see!

Fantastic free museum. You can easily spend 8 hours in this museum without being enough as they are lots of interesting things to see from all over the world. It is an unique museum and definitely worth visiting. The coffee shop located inside it is itself a piece of art with it's three marvelous rooms where you can take a break for a tea or coffee or a bite to eat. I will go again to visit and perhaps again and again and again.

This is an amazing museum that is FREE to enter, no tickets needed, but you can make a donation if you wish. We liked the fact that we could catch the train from Uxbridge and get off at Kensington South and walk through a tunnel to get to the museum. (Great if it was wet and cold) The museum building inside and out was absolutely beautiful, the exhibits (what we saw in our time frame) were well laid out and amazing. We did not see everything, but what we saw was wonderful. We spent around 2 1/2

Lovely museum and so big, I ran out of time because there is so much to see. I was only in London a couple of days and tried to get tickets to the Marie Antoinette exhibition (over a month ago) but sadly the only available slot was when I was catching my train home, so absolutely gutted about that. There is a bit of dress up here and there and I was delighted some of it was adult sized, not easy to get a good photo when your on your own but enjoyed it anyway. Best free museum in London. Has something for everyone, from amazing jewellery to ancient sculptures, classic ironworks, furniture and even contemporary glass. The layout is well designed so you can visit the sections that interest you without having to see everything. Easily accessible via subway or bus, and free to enter. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. If you only have time for one museum day, skip the Natural History museum, National Gallery and head to the V&A.
