The ruins here are absolutely amazing! The city was completely abandoned by 1350, yet some of the original stucco and paint is still intact! Pictures of their gods and symbols of open or closed eyes, which represent whether or not that god is still alive or dead, look as though they could be only a few years old. Red paint still borders a portion of this area. Red paint handprints as well still show on the walls and above the doors.

Very busy but worth it. Well preserved with great paths and few stairs. Clean bathrooms and good parking. Some signage in both spanish and english. Beautiful coastal scenery a bonus to this historic story. Guides available on site and shopping nearby. Before you take a picture with local costumed folks or those with birds/monkeys be sure to get clear price set first first. Hghly recommend Tulum!

The Mayan Temples were amazing and some of the history behind it gave it even more meaning to visit and take the tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the site. Be prepared to do a lot of walking. They do have shuttles to get you to different sites there in Tulum. I took so many pictures. This is a great place to visit if you go to Tulum.

Amazing. Even better the second time around. If youre visiting the area you cant miss this place! The beach is phenomenal. Be aware, the folks inside holding the monkeys, birds and iguanas are gonna charge you a pretty penny to take pictures with them though. But it was kinda worth it to hold a sweet lil monkey though. 🐒

Great place to spend a few hours to a half day. The ruins, trails, and the beach were maintained very well and I encountered lots of wildlives including iguanas, pretty birds, and Mexican racoons.

Getting in and out was nothing but horrible, and that made me very sad. We drove there, and our car was stopped by someone claiming that he's with the official government office. He explained about 3 options which included tours that we didn't want. We declined the offer and went to a parking lot led
