Get get a bit of a show before you go up. The guide explains the complex and you then see a short video with President Xi talking about Shenzhen. Great views from the 116th floor but busy so had to wait my turn a most spots.

At nearly 600m height, its a true wonder of architecture, the 2nd tallest building in China and the 5th tallest in the world.

You can go into floor 115 which, at more than 547m, is the tallest sky floor observation deck in the world.

You have to book an entry ticket before which lets you enter at any time during the selected day. I booked on Trip.com app and paid around 190 yuan. Its recommended to book at least a day before your visit.

The Free Sky observation deck is worth a visit if you are in the area. Tours are in chinese, explaining the nearby landmarks, the establishment of the financial center. There are also art exhibits and AR glasses as part of the experience.

Ping An Finance Center feels absolutely massive when you’re standing at the base. Looking straight up is almost dizzying — it’s so tall and powerful that you can spot it from far away, long before you arrive. Seeing it in person really puts the scale of the city into perspective.

This location is a must visit if you're in Shenzhen. The building is 599m tall (observation deck is at 547m). It obviously helps to go when the weather is good. The views from the top are spectacular.
