Mihai Vodă Church is one of the oldest buildings in Bucharest preserved to this day. It was founded in 1594 by the ruler Mihai Viteazul. Inside the church, there are paintings of some of the most notable leaders of Wallachia, from the church's founder Mihai and Lady Stanaca, King Michael I, up to Marshal Ion Antonescu.
