The church next to the block where I grew up. I remember the bell ringing at 12 o'clock. I could see its bell tower from my room in block 10. 👏🙏😢😢😢 But the poor church always needed renovation. I remember it was built in 1767, exactly 200 years before I was born.

This was a major surprise as I was strolling through the city aimlessly
It's an 18th century gem, quite austere although Catholic and located in an area where there are no other sights for miles
Dating from 1767 and consecrated to the viisit of St Mary to st Elizabeth it used to host an orphanage next to it, that building is, sadly, mostly a ruin today albeit it still hosts a school
There is a statue of Maria Teresa nearby, it was erected in 1909 to honor the donation made by the Empress to b
