Lovely views, lovely food, super cheap and easy to drive to the mountains! Recommend going during low season where prices are really cheap with most stuff included. Lovely swimming pool and spa service.

By far the best ski resort in Bulgaria. Plenty of modern ski lifts, wide ski runs and plenty of off-piste opportunities. There are snow guns on every piste, and the snow conditions are good. There is also a regular bus service to the top gondola station, as an alternative to the gondola. And, outside the school holidays, it's pleasantly not busy, especially during weekdays. We spent a week here in Feb 2025 and we had an awesome time. Conditions were perfect with lots of snow and off piste. Marked down slightly because the gondola queue in the morning is pretty long and not very well managed. It's not super cheap either but good value for what you get. Love the top to bottom road on the ski road too.

It is genuinely tragic to see the beautiful natural potential of Pirin National Park wasted by such incompetent and cynical resort management. While the geography offers world-class potential, the operational reality at Bansko is a masterclass in how to exploit customers while providing the bare minimum in return. Very bad ski place. Gondola que are 2-3 hours long. There is optional combi van that for additional charge can get you up, but why if you already have ski pass. Very expensive, price vise it is like in Italy or Austria. And overall quality is bad. If you can, it is the best to skip it.
