We stayed for a week in a suite with a private pool and loved it. The staff were excellent to a fault, especially the bar staff - couldn't rate them high enough. The food was much better than your average all inclusive resort, especially the Veranda for breakfast (courtesy of our room) and Abrazo Mexican. If you're going to Crete and want a 5 star resort then you should consider the Stella Palace. We didn't try the Aqua Park, but from the screams it sounded like everybody was enjoying themselves

Absolutely lovely place. Food, staff, rooms and all facilities are great. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff. Friendly and helpful. The swim-up was fantastic, quiet most of the time and waiter service to pool side was unexpected but appreciated. Private beach areas are lovely too. The water park for the granddaughter is great too. We all had a go on that😆.
