If you don't have a car, keep in mind that it's quite a climb from Circular Quay—lots of stairs. I’d suggest driving or taking an Uber. The room was spacious and comfortable, as you’d expect from an older hotel. However, the furniture felt more 'dated' than 'classic,' and for a 5-star hotel, I found the cleanliness to be a bit lacking. But the view is truly unbeatable, with the Opera House and Harbour Bridge right in front of you. The breakfast was also a standout—much better than other 5-sta

We had such a wonderful stay at Shangri-La Sydney. The views were absolutely stunning and definitely worth booking the Executive Horizon Suite. Horizon Club access really elevated the experience. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the food was excellent, especially the canapés. Compliments to the chefs! The room was spacious and full of thoughtful touches.
