Came back drunk at 3AM with a taxi who charged me 4 times the actual amount on my credit card before I noticed. Told the valet before going to my room. He then proceeded to negotiate with the taxi for 15 minutes until he got the cash difference back. Best service ever and most deserved tip I ever handed out

The team at the Shangri-La delivers some of the best hospitality experience. Special thanks to Alper, Ismail and Sedar at the concierge who helped me a lot and resolved all problems swiftly during my stay. They together with all their colleagues elevated our stay in Istanbul with their welcoming attitude. The hotel itself is conveniently located among many attraction sites and some nice neighborhoods to wander around. There are many restaurants near the hotel whether you like street food or more
