I loved this place ❤️ It is in walking distance to sassi of Matera. The staff was nice and helpful, they provided maps of the city and food recomendations.

A 25-minute walk from the bus stop and about 10 minutes away from the old town. Rooms are clean and when I was there I had the 4-person room to myself because there were no other guests that booked that room. The downer is that there’s no staff till 8 am. There’s no food service but there’s a ref and microwave, and a grocery store right next door. Highly recommended

Cleanest hostel I have ever stayed in, beautiful rooms and location is a few minutes walk from all the stuff you need to see. Massive shout out to Peter for being of the best hostel staff I have had the pleasure of dealing with! Incredibly helpful and kind and full of information. Aircon is there but was broken, so room was quite stuffy but did not tarnish a wonderful stay in any way. I will be back!! Thanks again
