A wonderful stay with heavy snow in the winter. Just a convenient highway bus ride from Tokyo or Takayama. My only complaint is the private room onsen tub was a bit small for a tall westerner. The food, service, location, local ski area were all wonderful.

Excellent hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Communication in English was no problem. Rooms are spacious and there are different onsen choices, public outdoor, private indoor and private outdoor. Dinner and Breakfast are of very high quality. The environment is very relaxing and tranquil

The best place I’ve stayed in. The rooms are incredibly beautiful. Tranquil location looking at the stream and the mountains. The food was an experience by itself. A place to decompress. The only thing I didn’t like was that sometimes I wanted to sleep in and skip breakfast because I was very tired and jet lagged. But I was woken up by a call I didn’t ask for. So even though I wanted to skip the breakfast for sleep, I had neither.
