I spent three nights at Kipos Suites in Heraklion while I was attending the 2025 EuroSafety conference. The conference was at the Cultural Conference Center of Heraklion, which is less than a 5-minute walk from Kipos Suites. Giannis, who helped me with the hotel airport shuttle, check-in, and check-out, all the way to making sure my stay was comfortable, was very kind and hospitable.

Brilliant place. We stayed there for a week and made it the centre of our stay in Crete. The reception is manned from 8:30-midnight (more or less), but the ferries arrive at Herakleion at 6:30 - we were travelling by car, so you arrive at the hotel 7-ish. We were met by the very polite cleaning lady, went for breakfast (the two "bougatsa" cafés on Lion Square just down the road are highly recommended, Phyllo-sophies - nice pun - and Kirkor). Stayed here for one night, wish it was longer. Absolutely outstanding. The lovely Yiannis, upgraded us to a very beautiful room, with fabulous facilities including toiletries, slippers, little kitchen fitted with coffee machine, fridge etc. Lovely comfy bed, spotlessly clean, very quiet location. Highly highly recommend.
