My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in December. Love the location, our room was spacious and clean, service was outstanding. i received a text each day from management asking me how my stay is going and if there is anything I need. We had some food and a drink at Vistal after checking in, I did not like the added 18% for staff and then wanted a tip on top of that.

InterContinental San Diego is one of those stays that instantly makes your trip easier. The location is ridiculously convenient, steps from the marina and right in the middle of everything fun, so you can walk to entertainment, waterfront strolls, and last minute plans without thinking twice. The amenities genuinely deliver. The gym is impressive, the rooftop pool is warm and feels like a real escape, and the on site restaurants make it easy to keep the whole stay seamless. Nice hotel in a great location. The property has nice restaurants. The room was spacious, clean, and well stocked with complimentary water. There is a heated pool with plenty of chairs and loungers. The hotel is beautifully decorated for the holidays. I was pleasantly surprised that, as an IHG Platinum member staying on a reward night, the $58 hotel fee was waived for my stay.I would definitely recommend this hotel.
