I’ve stayed at many Marriott properties, but this one was a huge letdown. The rooms are extremely worn and musty, with stained carpet and furniture. The bathroom wallpaper was peeling, the grout was filthy, and the shower setup forced both the overhead and handheld sprayer to run at the same time. Beds and pillows were old, uncomfortable, and in dire need of replacement. If you want two beds, be prepared for them to be only double-sized - no queens. Housekeeping is practically nonexistent unless you remove your privacy sign before 9am. Miss that window, and you’ll have to request towels or service at the front desk—with no guarantee you’ll get them. The pool area is far from relaxing: noisy, full of unruly kids, and dirty, worn-out furniture. The pool bar food is shockingly overpriced. Elevators are inconveniently located and operate unpredictably, and parking fees feel like a ripoff. The only positives were the beautiful grounds, nice lobby scent, and a balcony (though ours had trash left from previous guests). Unfortunately, slamming doors and staff who seemed uninterested in guest comfort ruined any chance of peace and quiet. Marriott really needs to invest in updates, cleanliness, and staff training here. Until then, I can’t recommend this property.
