Location - perfect, room - incredibly spacious, overlooking the river and quirky. The hotel itself has an industrial warehouse feel and is a bit of a one off. Wish we could have stayed longer. Only criticism is that breakfast didn't offer much for people who don't eat animal products. I was able to have some fruit, bread and peanut butter with a black coffee.

Used to be a solid Rotterdam institution, but it's gotten way too commercial over the years. What was once a charming historic spot with character has turned into basically a cafeteria operation. The location is still great (you can't move the building), but the experience has lost that special something it used to have. Feels more like a tourist processing center than the unique destination it once was. Disappointing to see a classic spot go this direction.
