Alamo Hostel is exceptional. Returning here since my first visit six years ago has felt like returning home. The property itself is beautiful and well-maintained, and the owner’s daily presence is evidence of his commitment to creating a good experience for guests. An old, spacious villa turned into a charming hostel for over 19 years. Great service, English-speaking crew, alternative playlist and peaceful courtyard. Perfect location in a quiet street, just around the corner from Plaza Chile. Highly recommended! Thanks Max & team!

Super comfortable stay. We had a garden room the first few nights and the bed was huge and comfortable. The only issue was the lack of window in the bathroom so we always had to open our room door after a shower to ventilate. Our second room was in the main building, another comfortable bed and a bathroom window which was better! Staff were super helpful and gave good advice. Breakfast was basic but did the job.
