A once in a life time visit, one of the old wonders of the world, something you can't miss when you are in Beijing. Have to be ready for a good walk, and sure take the bus and the cable car whenever you are offered. Wonderful to be there, especially in a nice sunny day. Worth every step, the view is one of a kind, amazing how such structure was built. Place well taken care of, and have some shops on the way for souvenirs, have to bargain, and not be in a rush to get the best out of the bargain.

I've been there 3 times and it's still amaze me. Just one of the most incredible mankind construction ever made. Try to go there on a day with low pollution otherwise the view isn't that great. Bring a lot of water and a hat to protect yourself from the sun.

The base for Mutianyu Great Wall was clean. There were a few hidden bathrooms off the main track, so avoid the ones with long lines and look for those. There is a shuttle bus that will take you to the ski lift/cable car areas. Go really early and you won't have to wait long. Beware the high prices for the sellers along the way. They started at 260 for a shirt but or tour guide said the average Chinese person would only pay 50-60 yuan for that. The Great Wall itself was an *amazing* experie
