Stayed at both the Ritz Carlton Abama and Bahia del Duque, and Bahia del Duque was the far superior experience. There wasn’t anything necessarily bad about the Ritz, but it felt more cooperate and suffered from the conglomerate goop that focuses more on profits than the customer experience. Bahia del Duque was the opposite; extremely kind and welcoming staff and the utmost attention to detail. Would definitely return in the future. Also wanted to say that Raquel (manager) was super nice and hand

Amazing hotel! Can see why its part of Best hotels in the world! Went for some R&R in January and it certainly delivered! Had read a few reviews about rude staff, but couldn't be further from the truth, everyone wanted to help. Rooms were lovely, food was out of the world and reasonably priced. Resturants were very good about serving wine by glass and not going for most expensive wine. everywhere was so lovely and clean. Will definately be back!

Our stay at Gran Hotel Bahía del Duque in Costa Adeje ended on a very disappointing note due to unclear spa charges and incorrect information from the concierge regarding the Virtuoso dining credit. Main issues affecting our rating: 1. No hotel-owned beach loungers – The beach in front of the hotel is public, and sun loungers must be hired separately at €20, which was a major disappointment for a hotel of this calibre. 2. Definitely not 5-star. Rooms are poorly designed and noisy - AC is extremely loud, walls are paper-thin (you hear snoring, alarms, conversations), and shower temperature is inconsistent. Facilities are outdated (old TV with no channels or smart features, no USB sockets, no kettle), and basics are missing (no drying rack in a beach resort, no do-not-disturb sign, only one towel hook, fridge unusable due to minibar overload). Interior feels messy with wires sticking out and tilted frames. Worst of

Worst experience and service I ever experienced in a hotel resort. It’s not 5 a star it is more like a 3 star or with a hygiene level of a hostel.. Reason is that the hotel stuff treat you like you are nothing - a wallet or a nuisance - and the fact that you booked an expensive room does not matter. We booked king size bed but received two separate beds. The restaurant overcharged us by saying wine costing €14 per glass and then charging us €30 or €40 per glass! Waitress was rude and was rolling
