This stay was our best stay in Europe from start to finish. Loved how they pick you up from a parking lot and drive you to and from the hotel. The breakfast was honestly the best we’ve had (continental not American which is fine) and the rooms having private entrances on a quiet street was a plug.

Absolutely amazing hotel, staying in an old cave dwelling with modern comforts is a must when in Matera. If traveling by car the hotel will give you options of a free outdoor car park or secured paid parking (€25/24hrs) Giuseppe picked us up from the car park and drove us to the hotel on the way giving us tid bits of information about Matera and must see locations and eateries. The views right outside the hotel were simply stunning. We only stayed for one night but we will definitely be back! Wo
