A beautiful space in Yanahuara - view to snow capped mountains was picturesque, lovely cathedral and park area to relax in. There is also a small lane that displayed artwork - great outdoor art gallery - fantastic find. Some great eateries to be found around the viewpoint. Very popular for photographs. Loved this area!

Very nice viewpoint with great views of the volcanoes and the city. It’s clean, calm, and perfect for taking photos or relaxing for a moment. A beautiful spot to visit in Arequipa!

Good spot with views of mountains. Not too far from main square, only a brisk 15 minute walk across Puente Grau and then a very easy climb up. There’s not loads to see and do when you reach here - a pleasant enough park with seating, small church and stroll around local neighbourhood are your options.

The Yanahuara overlook is definitely a spot worth visiting in Arequipa. The views over the city with El Misti volcano in the background are just amazing, a perfect place for photos and to take in the scenery. The stone arches with engravings give the place a nice authentic touch and make it feel special. For us, it was a bit difficult this day since it was a public holiday and quite crowded, but even then, the atmosphere was nice and lively. If you catch it on a quieter day, I can imagine it’s e
