The Plaza de Armas in Arequipa is amazing! It’s vibrant, beautiful, and always full of energy. The white colonial buildings, the palm trees, and the view of the cathedral make it one of the most picturesque plazas in Peru. A perfect spot to relax, take photos, and enjoy the atmosphere of the city. A must-visit!

Three of the roads around the square are pedestrian which is nice. Not nearly as touristy as Cusco very pretty at night

Amazing, elegant square exuding colonial architecture. A joy to behold and to stroll through. Great at sunset, watching the warm light kiss the Basilica's towers and then seeing the colours change.

Beautiful plaza! I was here the day before Arequipa’s 485th anniversary and festivities were happening. Plenty of restaurants and photo opportunities all around. Along with the basilica next door, this makes for a great visit!

Amazing! Loved the vibes! So much to see and do and eat! From the stores and restaurants to the street food and goods vendors! Felt safe and enjoyed a wonderfully positive but reserved crowd- no one loud, rude or negative.
