We dropped by the WA Maritime Museum this weekend and got taken to a completely different world of ocean history! 🌊
Stepping inside, you're immediately immersed in the fascinating maritime past of Western Australia The building itself is gorgeous, but the exhibits are the real stars! 🤩 The displays were incredibly enjoyable and packed with so much interesting detail I especially loved exploring the diverse historical artifacts, seeing the shark specimen and those intricate ship models was a rea

A nice collection, not big as the ones with the warship collection museums but a perfect glimpse of Australian civilian, sport sailing and commercial maritime history. Also a chance a close encounter for to see a big mouth shark.

This is a world class museum that has been refurbished not long ago. I planned to stay there for half a day, but ended up spending a whole day there. I am glad that I visited the museum before starting my WA tour. The exhibits and the related explanation provide very comprehensive background information on the sites that I was going to visit. This made the tour so much more interesting. There is an admission fee of $15.
