A friend and I visited over the Xmas holidays recently. We had a brilliant time, food was great, the bird show was absolutely brilliant. The animal enclosures were all clean and spacious and the animals all seemed extremely well cared for. We particularly enjoyed the educational aspects of each show. I would definitely recommend going to the Sanctuary if you like animals and want to know a bit more about them especially Australian natives.

Great place to visit and it's not overly crowded. It's a big place so a tip is tou use the train within the park. Best draw card was the bird show, and if you want to feed the lorikeets, attend the park after a few rain days, as they will be hungry and looking for alternative food sources.

A must visit and an amazingly well run park. All the staff were friendly and more than happy to share their wealth of knowledge about the animals. The park itself is a good size and great for adults and kids alike. Spent a good 4 hours there and would come back. I recommend buying the tickets prior to entering as you can skip the longer line. Also 8-9am is the lorikeet feeding time which is peak excitement!

The absolute standout of my visit was the chance to hold a koala. It is a memory I will treasure forever. They are surprisingly heavy, incredibly soft, and there is something so peaceful about being that close to one of Australia’s most beloved animals. The staff made sure the experience felt safe and respectful for the koala, which made the moment even more special. The Sanctuary Experience Walking through the sanctuary feels like stepping into a lush, tropical rainforest. Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the Gold Coast’s most iconic and memorable attractions, and it’s easy to see why. From the moment you enter, you’re immersed in beautifully maintained grounds filled with native Australian wildlife, lush greenery, and a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere.

The sanctuary offers an incredible opportunity to get up close with animals such as kangaroos, koalas, wallabies, and a wide variety of birds. The daily shows and animal encounters are well organised, in
