Stumbled across this place by accident. Such a beautiful representation of VIC Police service history. From K9, horseback, to mechanical and human - there was something for everyone. Well presented and curated. With a different (police) perspective of the Ned Kelly incident. Fingerprint analysis, forensic photofits all with an interactive aspect which kids love. Making learning the importance of our history fun while engaging. Highly recommend!

Took twin 8-year-olds to the museum, and while it was a compact venue, it had plenty to do in the 45 minutes we spent there. The displays were detailed, and the kids' activities were great. Staff very friendly and helpful, venue spotless. Excellent free activity if you have an hour to fill.

Brilliant! Sadly, quite a small museum but they have packed a lot in. A must for anyone interested in police/police history. Free to visit and a nice little shop at the front of the museum. Lots of things to look at and facts to read. Multiple interactive ‘games’ to play as well.

Small but well curated museum showcasing the history of Victoria's police force. You'll need about 20 minutes to walk through - longer if you engage with the interactive installations. Great for both kids and adults. Wheelchair accessible and all on one level floor. Staff very approachable :) Located within the Melbourne West police complex - very close to Southern Cross train station , trams along both Spencer st and Latrobe Street (including the number 35 tourist tram). Free entry.

Great place, the museum is a bit small but still has great things able to collect a lot of information. Love the idea of interactive displays and everything. I was like a kid playing with everything. 😄 Love the idea of the Kelly Gang display I was incredible amazed. I got some souvenirs, the plush are really cute. The customer service was very friendly and lovely.
