This is only place we came across so far and very good place to enjoy Croatian nature. Lots of walking, taking, going in every direction. You can find greenery and every view meters of walk it is interesting and surprising. Super sea views, ambient of old village. Great. It is sad that this is so seldom available for tourists. I just miss walkways, bicycle ways, forest paths and parks. Thrre is no such culture in this area. Arboretum and the sourounding is an exception.

Beautiful grounds with ocean views & flora. Lovely paths through the gardens. Cash only. Cost of entry was 10 euros, worth the cost as this is said to be the oldest Arboretum in Europe, possibly the world. One of the buildings had historical olive press equipment. Used to press, filter and refine the olive oil. Though not guided, photos show some of the ancient mechanismes used Out of season the gift shop was closed but bathrooms were open.

A must for any Game of Thrones fans as this is the setting for the gardens of Kings Landing. Even if you’re not a fan then these gardens are lovely to walk around in and there’s a new small visitors centre for toilets and refreshments from a vending machine as well as a seating area. Worth a visit.

If you're into plants and trees then this is the place for you in Dubrovnik. If you want to escape the city for a while it's only a 25min Uber ride. We went on a Wednesday so there's no boats from the old town meaning it's really quiet. There's no cafe on site so bring snacks if you're planning on taking your time and the only restaurant nearby is booking only in advanced so do some research. Even the locals say there's nothing of interest in the harbour here but there is a few swimming areas.

Well not being a Game of Thrones fan it didn’t tick that box for me. It’s €10 for adults and €7 for students. Yes it’s cash only and parking is quite limited. Inside it’s pleasant in a rather rambling way, but unkempt in places. A selection of unusual plants most of which have identification tags. It’s just a bit wierd. Yes the views from the pavilion are lovely but the coastal road has lots of view spots. Was it worth a visit? Yes as the weather wasn’t that good for much else. Was it worth the
