This is a beautiful cathedrale. On the way to the entrance there are some panels with information about the construction of the building (at least I think so). Unfortunately the panel were in Croation so I didn't understand them.

During our Christmas walk through Zagreb with Ondra, Brano, and Rolko (Roland), we visited Zagreb Cathedral, and despite the circumstances, it was still an impressive experience. The cathedral is absolutely massive and towers above the city - its twin spires reaching 108 meters make it Croatia's tallest building, and you can see it from almost everywhere in Zagreb!
When we visited, the cathedral was completely wrapped in scaffolding - which was a bit disappointing since we couldn't see the full

I walked here to see this place but from many angles was absolutely mesmerized by the scaffolding and the efforts of restoration. It's an absolute marvel...good on ya Zagreb!!!!

It is a great piece of architecture just 100 meters from main square. Inside it is very beautiful. It has a small connection with Las Vegas. A Croatian owner of a casino in Las Vegas had gifted them 3 chandeliers which are prominently displayed though they look little out of place. The atmosphere inside was very calm and soothing. It is better to see with a guide who can explain the great historical background. Worth seeing !!

I was here on the 8/12/2025 and it was covered in scaffoldings. It has been consecutively covered in them since the eighties and there is not an end in sight. I honestly think it’s frankly disrespectful to deprive citizens and tourists of such an important religious and cultural landmark in Croatia. Why can’t they just finish the work??? Beside the frustrating situation the church is breathing even if it’s barely even visible. You cannot even get inside and take a look at the interior design. Ev
