We spent time around the wheel area (we didn't intend to go on the wheel). However, it looked amazing and the sights of the wheel with the Brisbane city backdrop were amazing. We caught the early NYE fireworks, which were great and would have been an absolute treat from the wheel 🙂

Visited on public holiday! Busy place and always a lot of people around. Exactly opposite to CBD and walkable distance if you are coming from CBD and if you are visiting SouthBank Park then its easily accessible. Lots of good resturant around

The Wheel of Brisbane is a must-visit for a bird's-eye view of the city. Located in the heart of South Bank, this 60-meter-tall landmark offers a relaxing 12-minute experience in comfortable, air-conditioned gondolas. The Highlights Spectacular Views: Enjoy a 360-degree panorama of the Brisbane River, CBD skyline, and lush South Bank Parklands. Informative Experience: Each ride includes an audio guide that highlights local history and landmarks. Perfect Timing: While great by day, it is best

It was a great experience. The ticket price was $23, which I think is reasonable. However, the photos after the ride cost $30, and I don’t recommend purchasing them — it’s not worth it in my opinion. Everyone has a camera and can take their own photos the way they like. The wheel ride itself was beautiful, not crowded, with lovely views from up high. The service was good too.

A fun experience. I think you go round 5 times. It’s pretty expensive for just that and you only stop at the top once. So not great value for money.
The aircon was great and fun facts commentary. All the staff were so nice and helpful.
The windows are pretty scratched in our cabin so it was hard to take a nice photo of the view.
Definitely better during the day as night even with the light off was just your reflection.
I guess it’s worth it if you’re struggling but don’t rush to do it for $2
