This is a world-class museum that would easily be at home in Madrid or London. The only difference is that this museum is absolultely free. Several well-designed spaces with beautiful artefacts from the Phoenician, Punic and Roman eras - all very touching in their way, a reminder that people in Ibiza loved each other in exactly the same way 2,700 years ago. The tombs themselves are large and impressive. You definitely need the safety helmet they recommend because the ceilings dip in places! B
