Depending on the time of day it mind be tricky to find parking. It was our first time to Old town. We did a lot of exploring. The historic park was open and free. Lovely to walk around and take a journey back in time.

Old Town San Diego does a good job preserving all the historical Mexican sites all in one location, such a enjoyable and meaningful 1 hour walk type of place.

Love La Casa De Machado Y Silvas, Racine & Laramie Cigars, and La Casa De Estusillo these 3 sites the most.

La Casa De Machado Y Silvas is the very first commercial restaurant in San Diego; Racine & Laramie sold all the antique pipes (you can still smoke cigars here); and La Casa De Estusillo is the most luxury architecture in this area.
