I personally find it quite extraordinary that so many people visit the castle, but then don't visit the museum, it's only 200 lek extra and so much of interest here. It gives you an insight into the history of the town on the ground floor, you then have an excellent collection of arms, rifles etc on the first floor captured during Workd Wars and the Balkands war. You also of the prison block used during the communist era to house political opponents. It's within the castle so definitely pay thi

I give it 3 stars. The place is impressive and worth seeing, but it has many shortcomings: • 🎟️ Entrance: 400 lek, but if you want to see the weapons museum inside, you must pay an extra 200 lek. Also, the euro–lek exchange rate is not the official one. • 📜 There is very little information in the different areas. • 💡 Some rooms have no lighting, and in several spots there is a strong smell of urine. One Star - This is not a museum, this is an old storage room

I paid for a ticket to enter but don't receive any ticket . Only guns with zero context or descriptions. The place is physically unsafe for children. Saw a leaking roof, exposed and dangling electrical cables along the walls, and display cases with cracked, sharp glass that looked like a hazard. It's dirty, neglected, and feels like a liability. It doesn't worth it.
