Im so grateful that I even inquired because the other sides of the beach were so noisy and consumed by everyone.. the food spot here was literally the best! Cleaned my plate!! Amazing service, quiet and lovely views! I say this with the hopes that when I return it’s the same vibe!

the color of that water was unreal. the waves were strong & lots of coral & rocks but still swimmable in areas. not too many people & a few restaurants serving up food & drinks while you chill. highly recommended

I think it's season-dependent, we went in March. The slope was steep, lots of debris incl. coral, rocks and rubbish. Deserted which was nice but likely because it's not a particularly nice beach to relax on. Nothing open, in fact most of the beach bars were abandoned and in a state of disrepair, unlike Gili Air which has a much nice vibe and a bit of soul.

Compared with other beaches on the island this is by far the least appealing. It’s eroded, steep, narrow, not easy to swim at and isolated. There’s few facilities and most are rundown or abandoned.
