Give yourself at least an hour to fully enjoy the site's breathtaking high-altitude view of the ocean, the lush, the old architecture, and its hidden corners. The monkeys are harmless, so no need to be scared of them.

Recent visit to Bali did visit this temple situated on the cliff edge. Very awesome view from the top of the cliff , of the sea. Must visit is the open theatre show at this temple. Usually starts around 6 pm with the sunset view from the open gallery. They enacted the Ramayana script of Sita apaharan by Ravana. It’s awesome and lasts around an hr. One of the must visit places in Bali for the view of the sea, the open theatre performance and the calmness. The show costs around 2,50,000 Indonesia

5 stars for the AMAZING sunset you can watch from there. This is not to miss. You absolutely must catch the Sunset from here. It's one of the best I have ever seen. Warning ⚠️! Be very very careful of the monkeys there. They are aggressive and will go for your Phones, spectacles and all the lose items. Saw them snatch a poor fellows mobile from his hand while he was clicking pictures.

Aside from that it is a wonderful place and you can watch Kecak dance if you want to as well. We skipped it as

Uluwatu Temple is an ancient Balinese Hindu Sea Temple renowned for its dramatic location approximately seventy meters above the Indian Ocean, Offering stunning views and host the Popular Kecak dance at sunset (unfortunately we couldn’t get to see it because they run out of the tickets… But we managed to see the same thing on the beach nearby 😁). The one thing about the temple garden is that is has a lot of monkeys 🐒, And they know how to steal your stuff and negotiate you for sweets in order to

Aggressive monkey alert. You know this is a major problem if the guides have to remind guests not to wear jewelry, be alert at all times, and are patrolling the area to shoo monkeys away. In a span of 30min, we witnessed monkeys stealing hats off visitors heads, water bottles stolen, handphones lifted from open bags and swarming towards people holding plastic bags. Also watch out for monkeys coming up the cliff walls. I would not visit this place because spectacles might get snatched and smashed
