I was pleasantly surprised to find a Catholic church so close to my hotel. St. Silvestre Catholic Church is absolutely beautiful. The architecture is stunning, and the peaceful surroundings make it a wonderful place for prayer and reflection.

As a Catholic, I was very happy to attend Sunday Mass during my stay. The Mass is conducted in Bahasa Indonesia, but that wasn’t a problem at all. The Catholic Mass is universal, and it still felt familiar, meaningful, and comforting.
