Just what my soul needed, old fashioned Baptist Church. The church you grow up in A church with the Mothers of the Church in all white and the Decon’s in suits. Just like the church from the 60’s and 70’s we went to as a kids with our grandmother. I found them on Google and called the pastor answered the phone on Sunday morning. Ebenezer is a historic church in the historic neighborhood of Pearl City in Boca Raton. Pearl City is just north of downtown Boca Raton. It was a community plated in 1915 and composed of blue collar African Americans who worked on farms, in construction, and at the Boca Raton Hotel. This is the first black church in Boca. Everyone is genuine and they love God and their community. There is a great mix and EVERYONE is welcome. Its a short walk from Mizner Park and just a mile or so from FAU. Student friendly congregation and an AMAZING location for a small 50-100 attendee wedding in Boca Raton.
