Aesthetic and peaceful viewpoint near Lake Pichola. The selfie point at Dudh Talai is Instagram-worthy. Beautiful gardens and lake views make it a great spot for photography and evening walks.

Doodh Talai, translating literally to "Milk Pond," is a quaint, picturesque lake nestled adjacent to the larger Lake Pichola in the heart of Udaipur. Historically, it served a utilitarian purpose, fulfilling the water needs of the royal cow shelters, thereby providing milk for the City Palace kitchens.
Structurally, the area has been transformed into a modern tourist hub featuring two distinct gardens: the Manikya Lal Verma Garden and the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Park (home to the first Music

Dudh Talai is a small lake located on the way to Karni Mata Temple, so you can cover two places in one go. Here you get boating options like paddle boats and slow boats. There’s also horse and camel riding available. The place looks very aesthetic because the architecture around the lake is all white, just like milk, which makes the photos come out really beautiful. A nice quick stop to enjoy before or after visiting Karni Mata.
