Lovely spot for a family day out! We recently visited Colmslie Beach Reserve and were quite happy with the experience. There are many shaded areas perfect for birthday parties and gatherings, but you definitely need to come early to grab a good spot. The park has a huge play area for kids — lots of space and activities to keep them busy. The riverside sandy riverbed area was also nice and clean.. Love the cycle track.

Another hidden gem! lovely place with so much to offer everyone of all ages and abilities. River walks, large open grass areas to run in, covered seating areas plenty of parking, a really large and colourful playground with a fence. We just sat by the river and enjoyed the view. One bonus for plane buffs, you are under the flight path ! Even so the park was peaceful and relaxing surrounded with many large trees you could easily forget you were in the city.

Great place for the kids to burn off some energy. Many themed areas for great imaginative minds. The BBQ areas were also an added bonus! Plenty of room for kids birthday parties. We will be back next time we are on that side of town!

Wat an awsum park it is huge, it keeps going n going. It is a water themed park n it looks like it would be so much fun, there is a "creek" with turtles n fish in it, then a school of fish swimming along, there is a treasure chest, an anchor ⚓️, a half sunken ships steering wheel, there was only one sprinkler working unfortunately. Up the top there are baby swings n toddler swings, n bigger kids swings all set in a "circle" so u can watch each other swing, a couple of 🛝 n also a fully covered
