This emblematic colonial mansion is located in the heart of the historic center of Arequipa, Peru, just steps from the Plaza de Armas. It was built in 1738 using white sillar, a typical volcanic stone from the "White City." It is currently owned by BBVA Bank of Peru. Entrance is free from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Its facade is beautiful, as is the interior. I recommend visiting on a weekday, including Saturdays.
