The oldest habitation building in Sydney. It is closed at the moment, but still nice to see from the outside. It is surrounded by a lovely garden with chairs.

A quite little landmark with lots of history. Located in the historic area of The Rocks, which is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Sydney. Cadmans cottage is known to be the oldest surviving building in Sydney
If you are interested in history and heritage this is good stopover. You can find this cottage if you are waking around circular quay. It is opposite the overseas passenger terminal, accurately pinned on google maps.

It's an historic place! The oldest building left over from the beginning times of Sydney, when Britains came here by ship. The house is from 1815 / 1816. Hope the city doesn't sell this spot to someone who is offering a case of money to them, because the location is great.

Watched Sydney Vivid 2023 cool light show ♥️ other times ⏲️ free tours start from here. Cadmans cottage offers a very interesting history about the first home in the area of The Rocks. The view is of course beautiful as well down by the Sydney harbour. And short walk to Circular Quay or Campbell Cove

Closed! 😔 You can see only from outside. Real shame. Probably best piece of The Rocks (as all other historical spots nearby are turned into shops, cafes and restaurants - lost potential!), but this little treasure could be a great attraction for tourists, if opened....
