A quick place to reset near Soutern Cross Station. You can see Yarra River, a helipad, birds, trees, bridges, boat, and also Melbourne city venue. It was around 9 am when I arrived in this park. There some people meditating, eating, chatting, picnic, hop up to the rental helicopter and me enjoying the side river view. You can hear mix between the traffic, tram's bell, bird singing, helicopters rotor's blade and music from cafe across the river. A very rich combination that describe Melbourne cit

Batman Park in Melbourne is like a total vibe, you know? It's this chill spot right on the Yarra River, with sick views of the city skyline. You can grab a picnic, catch some street performers, or chill by the water. It's not too big, but it's perfect for a laid-back arvo with mates or a solo escape from the hustle. If you're in Melbourne, it's defo worth a visit.

The area was so great for group BBQ. But some time the activity will be interrupted by the helicopter. Also you might need insect spray during hotter days.

Seems a little sketchy, probably wouldn’t feel too safe at night, quite noisy, which I guess makes sense due to the nearby train station and road, and it’s not very clean bbq place seems good tho, nice view of the river

It's actually a decent sized city park, and it's flat enough for people to play lunch time soccer on. There's BBQ facilities and a public toilet though I'd probably recommend you walk across the river and use the facilities at the crown instead for a much more comfortable and cleaner experience. Right next to the yarra river which would be awesome except it has an overrun of seagulls and I have seen rats scouring past from the abandoned Rebecca Walk precinct area at the back.
