The Basilica of San Giovanni Battista al Rosario is located in the historic center of Lecce. The beginnings of the church date back to the 14th century. The current building from the end of the seventeenth century was built on the site of the previous building. In 1948, the church was declared a basilica. It has a lot of interesting details worth seeing.
