We were too late to make an appointment for the day we wanted to go but we showed up just in case they could take us in. They not only welcomed us with open arms, but we got an amazing one-on-one tour of their incredible museum. The docent was incredibly knowledgeable and we even got an opportunity to purchase some specimen notes. Highly recommend!!

Very nice visit at this bank museum. Adequate amount of information relayed by the tour guide historical and cultural as well. We saw the vault and even went inside. The tour was about a little more than an hour and its free. Be sure to book ahead on line and know that you have to leave your Identifying document (in our case our driving license) by the guard. We also had to deposit our phones even smart watches in the locker. Overall a good experience.

I did not expect this museum to be so nice! The Museum of Bank of Albania is small but very modern and beautiful. You can learn a lot about the history of money in Albania, from old times until today. There are many coins, banknotes, and also videos and interactive things to see. The guide was very kind and explained everything in a simple and clear way. The building itself is also very impressive. I think this museum is a little hidden gem in Tirana and I really recommend to visit it!

Situated at the heart of Skanderbeg Square, the Museum of the Bank of Albania is one of the most fascinating and modern spaces to visit in the entire country.

To enter you will need to go online and book a visit. It's free. Once we arrived they keep your photo ID until end of tour. You lock your phones and belongings in the locker. You can take your wallet, no bags. The tour lasted one hour but can be 30 mins if there's not much questions from the visitors. All in all it was interesting.
